Just because I don’t “have” an S2000 does not mean this is not S2kandTheAnt…. I lent my camera to my friend Alvin to take some pictures of an S2k cruise a few Sundays ago. The cruise was through the very scenic mountains in the San Diego area. For those not from LA, San Diego is about an 1hr+ away from where we live, sometimes longer because, you know…..LA traffic. It’s a real thing, trust me. He snapped a bunch of pictures…. of rad cars in attendance.
Not only were S2ks on the trip, but a few NSXs decided to swing by….
This NSX looked really fresh…interesting bling bling wheels.
Clean execution of an New Formula Red S2k, Ap2 lip, ZE40, Stoptech Calipers, and an OEM hardtop.
I could do a “yo dog” joke here, but interesting s2k air freshener.
Long Beach Blue NA2 NSX. Whenever I think of a USDM spec NA2 NSX, I think of this color… There used to be one around my neighborhood growing up, it was probably brand new then.
Some cars definitely made the hike out to the cruise, This particular car came from Utah, while the first NSX came from Arizona.
This yellow NA1 Looekd pretty cool. It was the most modified NSX in attendance.
I’m loving the OZ superleggeras on this car. I used to have these rims on my Wife’s GC8…. 2.5 RS yo!
The sky was incredibly clear this day
Personalized license plates were out in full force.
Another shot of the NA1 NSX with some custom LED turn signals.
Since my friend has a Laguna Blue S2k, it was interesting to see the differences of color between the Long Beach Blue and Laguna Blue. Laguna blue seems to be a bit lighter.
An Evo 8 was in attendance. I’ve always wanted an Evo…..
They stopped by Alberto’s Taco Shop…. Alvin didn’t partake, because he had a long drive home…..
These yellow flowers were everywhere. They looked like dandelions.
A closer look at the NA1 Yellow NSX. Some LED tail lights to go with the GT wing.
Comptech/CT Engineering SuperCharger.
Interesting Strut brace, must be a reason it is designed like this.
Group shot!
Alvin’s LGBTQ, I mean LBP Ap2. On some Sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sports……
Final stop was this Pie Shop.
Alvin said the Pie was awesome….
I’ll try to have more posts up before I go back into full study mode…. Shoutout to Murphy for making this all possible!
