Please see WE MADE A HOOD! *or Amuse R1 Dry Carbon Bonnet* ! To summarize: Power House Amuse owner Tanabe-san passed away, Amuse became R1Titan, and R1Titan changed carbon fiber manufacturers. In my opinion, the quality of their carbon products is no longer the same.
I went to Japan and spoke with the original manufacturer to exclusively remake some of these parts again — at GREAT expense. And to keep with the theme of this blog, all of this actually happened back in 2024.
Let’s start with a refresher of this wing with a generic common picture….

Grainy picture to remind everyone who the real touge monster is…..

Here is what’s currently for sale from R1Titan 🤮

If this isn’t further proof that the R1Titan carbon panels aren’t the same quality as the old Power House Amuse pieces, I don’t know what else to tell you.
Since I was already spearheading the effort to properly remake the bonnet/hood, why not remake the wing too? The manufacturer I worked with in Japan agreed.
Without further ado. No, the manufacturer of the wing is not A’PEXi — it’s just the box I had lying around. Yes, it’s fully made out of dry carbon and it’s glorious. The wing stands are proper metal pieces with carbon rods supporting them. Please look up and then scroll down 30 times to see the difference.
In a world where GT-09 wings are almost commonplace — weird to say for a $10k wing — Instagram/social media really got us fucked up when it comes to expectations. This Amuse wing is a breath of fresh air in a sea of voltex swimmers.
Took it home…..
Now that I have the wing, I need to see how this will look on my car. I bought a brand new OEM CR Trunk Lid and decided to marry these pieces together. Mastercraft owed me a favor for borrowing a tool, so I decided to cash it in. I had them install the wing on my CR trunk.
Quan doing his thing triple checking. Measure something, cut something. BTW quan used to work for singer, how cool is that.
Arman assisting with some hole placement…..
Very, very, very carefully drilling some holes.
Now the wing/trunk combo is on my car. Yes, my S2k is looking rough and in 2026 it looks pretty much the same. Please come support my shop, 3CatGarage, so I can finally get this thing running.
Slightly zoomed out… yeah, I need to flip the Craft Squares back.
My Dry Carbon ASM fenders and Dry Carbon ASM hood are long gone now. I sold them to Tu. These will eventually go up for sale on my website and through Formula S.
You can always DM me on the 3catgarage IG. At the time of writing, the wing retails for around $6,500–$7,000 USD depending on the political situation and import costs… it’s NOT FOR EVERYONE, if I were to rip on another body kit manufacture slogan.
