Last month I checked out the Super Street X Toyo Tires Calendar launch in Costa Mesa. It took place at Boden AutoHaus so they were plenty of stance cars on air there. I’m usually not a big fan of stance, regardless I wanted to check it out. They were some quality builds there I’ve only seen online prior. Sorry for lack of polarizer… the pictures are too damn reflective….

First thing I saw was this Art car inspired Porsche 911

Costa Mesa Police was there to keep things in order

They were some S2000s there like this s2k running “Spoon inspired” body parts, like the top, bumper, fenders…. The quarter panels look legit though…. Sometimes I wonder if you spend this much on Shine goods, it’s not that much more for legit bumpers.

I’ve seen this LTMW Audi R8 all over the interwebs. I must admit it looks better in person.

This car is what’s wrong with the scene today. All people want to do is build their car for the most attention as fast as possible with no thought put into it…… No attention to detail, no saving up for quality authentic parts, none of that.
