Today I worked on transferring my killer-bee oil pickup to the new engine. I also took it upon myself to repaint my intake manifold. My STi intake manifold was flaking off.

My supplies:

Red wrinkle paint from VHT
A paint brush
Paint stripper by Strip-X
A heat gun

I used THIS as a reference for my project.

I didn’t take any pictures doing the paint stripping, but this is my finished result…. I over wrinkled the intake manifold with too much heat gun, nonetheless it looks a lot better than before!

I’m going to try this on my S2k Valve cover when I get the chance!
